The tarp is simply tissue paper brushed with PVA glue, cheap quick and effective

The Auster is progressing well. I have used brass rod stuck down with clear PVA to give the impression of the complex frame work seen inside an Auster.
I have also painted it silver and painted a blue coach line down the side, I don't know the a/c registration so I will leave it off. I also think this was the wrong mark of Auster as the one I flew in had integral flaps which would have made it a mk5 that had a different nose and engine, but I won't tell if you don't

Test fit of the canopy and I'm pleased how the framing has turned out.

Yes I'm pulling out all the stops and working on it tonight and tomorrow night as my wife is out both nights.

Just about finished only the wheels, prop and a new top canopy to replace the kit part that has a dome on it to be done.
