I'm back after one hell of a week at work keeping me away from the 'puter' and workbench. Not been 100% plane sailing at home because I've been busy here too.

Where are the Start/Finish dates published? I can't find them

Hi Ratch.
The finish is supposed to be March 1st which is today. I'm going out on a limb here but as GB leader I think with a few builds quite close to the finish line I say we extend the build to midnight Sunday (3rd) for those last few jobs and getting the finished pics into the gallery within a couple of days of that. Everyone agree?.

Well. The mission is over and seven out of the nine forts have landed. One had to abort the mission and one not finished but I am sure both forts will be finished some time soon. Well done to all of you on your superb builds. They are an inspiration and a credit to your skills. Many thanks for taking part and I am looking forward to the P51 build so we can add some 'Little friends' to go with our B17's.

My pleasure my friend. I enjoyed the build and watching you guys build yours. I've learned a few things and now I have done the job worked out a better way of doing the checkers, Paint the base colour (in this case yellow) mask the cowling completely, draw the chequered pattern on and cut the lines with a scalpel then de-mask alternate squares then get painting with the black then de-mask the remaining masking and that should leave a neat chequered pattern.
