I will do one day but other things are priority builds over this one. I'll be hacking away at the 'Sally B' again very soon but I have a couple of builds to finish over the next few days.

All the best.

Right ho. There has been progress on the Sally B. The interior has been finished and the windows fitted and the fuselage closed up. I've left the turret parts except the rings off as I will fit them later, I know it means the lower turret will not turn but I'm not into moving features on my models. I've gone for the 'Artistic license' on this build as the original aircraft does not have the cheek guns and I didn't realise 'Sally B' didn't have them until it was too late and I didn't have the parts needed to omit these so I will have them in place.
Pics to follow.

All the best.

OK. With me being GB leader and all it's a bit churlish of my build thread to be at the bottom of the pile so here goes. I am starting a Blitzbau and continuing with my Fortress right now. I've got three clear hours to play with and I intend to get some plastic hacked. Pics to follow in a ten mins or so when I've taken and uploaded them.

All the best.

I've got the place to myself (The kids are upstairs in bed and Sarah is at a friends having a 'girly night in' so it's play time for me  Not a hero mate, just a happy chap who's trying to get some building done.

Story so far.

Rear turret and tailplanes on.

Well, I'm still awake and have a little Greg here who doesn't want to sleep so as well as seeing to his needs I have been attacking plastic. I'll let the pictures do the talking suffice to say I have gone for the blue stripe tail but with turrets, I know this isn't strictly accurate but as I have also left the cheek windows on this model was never going to be 100% bang on (I didn't realise that 'Sally B' didn't have them until it was too late).

Airframe together.

Paint on.

The decals worked perfectly after a two minute soak in warm water.

With luck I'll be able to do some more in the 'Sally B' tonight. I'm looking at tidying up some paint around the canopy and installing undercarriage and hopefully the engines and turrets too and if I can get those done I may even finish tonight but I would also like to do another Blitz too, hmmm decisions decisions.

All the best.
