I shall be building Fortress Mk I WP-F AN530 of No 90 Squadron, Polebrook, September 1941.

I agree, it will be nice to see an RAF Fort. The kit looks quite detailed.

Excellent, another one of those nice looking Academy Fort kits. Good decision re the RAF markings Ratch and great work so far.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Details were picked out with a brush and decals were applied onto a Kleared surface, aided by Microset and Microsol solutions. With hindsight it would have been easier to paint and decal each component before fixing them in position.

Six crew members were added from the spares box :ha:

The clear runner was dipped in Klear before the parts were fixed to the model. I was unhappy with the fit of some of these transparencies, although it may have been that the instructions were misleading and I put them in the wrong openings.

A dry fit revealed that the standing crewmember required shortening :twisted:
