Re: Sign-Up and Chat
As there are still 2 weeks to run on this I may as well raid the stash again. I have managed to collect all of the Airfix "WWII Aircraft of the Aces" collection, and within the hoard are four viable for this GB:
I will tackle the Thunderbolt first, and see how time goes for the rest.

Guys,
you wouldn't think about stretching the timetable till Monday 18th , would you? Marek is well behind, just put decals yesterday and there is much more to be done ;) with my cyclone.

Re: Sign-Up and Chat
Can I just say a big "Thank You" to Tom for suggesting this GB, and modding it so successfully with all the other GB's going on at the same time. It allowed me to get 3 out of the stash built, and gave me the KUTA that I needed to get on with building my WWII Aircraft of the Aces series.

Now this is interesting. The box art has a picture of the featured aircraft flaming out and the pilot ejecting. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Usually its a picture of the featured aircraft causing the pilot of ANOTHER aircraft to punch out.ara398 wrote:

Three cheers for Tom and John for organising this GB!
Even though I started halfway through and this build had its moments, I've thoroughly enjoyed it and applaud the other entrants for their efforts and their great models!
This IS a great place to be!

Omg! That lightning sure has an electric nod to the ground.
Show that photo to people for 5-7 seconds, then ask them what the license plate on the tractor read, I bet most couldn't say.
