This is a really nice kit. Good luck with it. Matter of fact I wouldn't mind another one of these myself

Never done this kit but it looks like a winner. And there are tons of schemes you can use.

I do have a couple of aftermarket decal sheets around somewhere. If I can't find them I'll be doing the scheme on the box.

I made a start yesterday. The cockpit interior has been painted and the wings assembled.

My Sky and Aeromaster decal sheets are still AWOL but I have found a Techmod sheet which includes a Turkish example which would be a bit different.

This is my favourite Hurricane II kit, it goes together very nicely. I think Revell are re-releasing the boxing with the bits for the Sea Hurricane in it sometime this year. That's a sure-fire purchase!

Cheers

Although I have a few in the stash this is the first one I've built and it does go together well with no fit problems at all so far. After applying the decal to the IP the fuselage has been closed up and wings and tailplanes added.

This could be one of the few kits I've built that doesn't need any filler.

Looking really good. I have to say that with the type of the canopy on the Hurri and the scale, Revell addressed the cockpit well enough for me. Your build goes pretty quickly and well I see. I'm looking forward to the outcome.

That is good news, I may have a go at doing mine during the GB as it seems to be a quick build.

It certainly looks smart at the moment.

Ive built a couple of these and the IIB kits and they are lovely kits and just seem to fall together beautifully. Revell are re-releasing the Sea Hurricane version of this kit this year, will be one ill be picking up

I did need a bit of filler but that's probably more my fault than the kit's as the lower fuselsge insert is slightly lower than the surrounding areas. I've sanded it down so I'll give the underside some primer to see if it needs any more work.

The rudder has had a coat of red.

Still aiming to get finished before the cut off date.

The underside wasn't as bad as I expected so I've got some paint on over the weekend.
