Excellent. Well it's still yesterday night here and almost time for my bed. I look forward to more of the Vampire tomorrow.

Pretty well same as last night, need to rub down some seams and mask the canopy.

Re: And it turned into a VAMPIRE BLITZ***underway***
Forgot to show this one earlier. The upper wing is attached to the fuselage and then the intake trunking is added. The booms and empennage are then assembled and the boom attached to the top wings as shown. The mail gear legs are attached to the boom prior to this. I think it would be possible, but difficult to add the legs after this stage. The lower wing halves are then added.

Insignia yellow on. I'm guessing these bands were four feet wide ? What's that in 1/72 scale ?
Re: And it turned into a VAMPIRE BLITZ***underway***
4 feet = 48 inches
48 inches in 1:72 = 48/72 = 2/3 inch = 16.93mm
I think you can get away with 17mm

Re: And it turned into a VAMPIRE BLITZ***underway***
OK further research tells me the bands are 3 feet on this sized aircraft. 13mm should do it
