Hour nine I believe. Have the white on. Glad for the lighter colored plastic.

Masking? Oh crapazoid. No I have it masked.

Ok....I am about ready to set the wayback machine to the 80's for a few that hit me right between the eyes but first one last glimmering shot at what was the 60's at least in the U.S. Now everybody get in step because the moves were as important as the dress code.

Time for a hot cuppa.

Paul Revere & The Raiders... amazing. The '60s.. where someone thought "Jodphurs and riding boots: that's a Groovy Look!" and got away with it.

Hour ten. I know it is late on your side of the world. Got the wings masked and painted again with a mix of Tamiya Orange and Red. Fuselage is next. Except for one spot of leakage on the lower port wing, all went well. Lots of tape.

OK....I made the jump to light speed and I found a group I actually saw in concert fronting for the Moody Blues.

Love this song.

Hour 11 and the fuselage is now painted. I will go back at touch up some white is selected areas where the masking failed.

I normally would be wrapping things up in an hour or so but the complex paint scheme went against my Blitzbau nature. Well one should push back the envelope as they say.

OK.....A little ELP is in order.

Hour 12. No parts left. Everything is painted. The area where the de-icing boots were located and removed has been done with Bare Metal Foil. It must be time to gloss it up.

But..........yet another song. In as much as this was originally a night-fighter and I certainly do not want to RUSH it now, I present:

Hour 13. Decaled, another coat of gloss. Pesky starboard wing hinges giving me fits.

So. Dull coat and remove masking and see what we got.

Next up is a band that has meant a whole lot to me. The music has gotten me through some difficult times in my life.
