Re: The Blitzbau House is back
Well, I am contemplating a 2nd build and I am sure that it has nothing to do with the fact that I am trying to have something to take to Commiesfest next weekend (I will be flying so will have to be small).
I recently won the Revell Strike Force off of evilbay and while I am still working on plans for the Thunderbolt (that is the mech) the Duey Helicopter (it's original name from Dougram) is just sitting there looking at me. As was pointed out earlier, only one chopper has been completed in a blitz so far and one is on the books for this year. But, I don't remember anything slightly Sci-fi related. Course, I could just be forgetful and I have only been on here for 6 blitzes but thought I might give it a go.
I will peruse the parts (sorry about that) to see if the main parts are up to my blitz standard (no putty) and am still trying to think of an appropriate color scheme (sic-fi, what if, sci-fi what if, etc) but if the fit looks good, might give it a go starting tomorrow a little earlier in the evening as will have to build before I can paint.
So, if I start a new thread, you will know what I am up to.

Yes, indeed, pray have mercy for us all, save us from the twin horror of the Italeri/Airfix Apache. Did someone mention sponsons and fillerAndrewR wrote:It's the Italeri AH-64D... Have mercy!jssel wrote:Kinda like that whirly thing inthe background.

This is why I love this forum. Zoo modelling at its finest.
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?
