Oh missed this one.
Good build, Saxon, and in such a short time.
Was this your first blitz?

Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

First successful one Priscia, tried my first one back in 2011 and didn't make it. So am quite happy with the outcome! Thanks for your comment.
I also just realised I forgot to take a photo of food, I had sausages, red cabbage and chips for lunch was quite good would have made for a colourful photo as well!

Thanks for all your comments! Mike- If I get a chance I might do another before the end of the month if I can find a suitable kit in the stash. I am happy with the build although one of the frames on the canopy is a little wobbly, should have used tape like I did on my BF-110, anyway it looks good all the same.mightymikeD wrote:great job! Gregers said he was thinking about a Tuskeegee Academy build, I think after building this I would look to Airfix or someone else, Academy's seperate tail piece and poor fitting canopy aren't great. Haven't done the new Airfix tooling yet but it might just be better and at a similar price.

Nice one Saxon mate, a fine build.
Cheers for the info on the kit. I've just Blitz'd a Hobbyboss P51D so I may go that route. I have a Hobbyboss P51B in the stash that I am going to do Richard Turners aircraft 'Short fuse Sallee' with and an Airfix B that's going to be 'Hun Hunter, Texas' and looking at the two I may go the Hobbyboss route for the Tuskeegee build.
All the best.
Greg
