Ians Gannet T.2 * * * COMPLETE * * *
Bored. Housework done. Blitz time!
I do have the littlest little Ian off school ill today, so I have him to look after but he's no trouble.
Kit and clock
And parts - still in sealed bags!
No Mrs. Ian, so I'll be making my own food and drinks (at least until she gets home from work!)
This (unless I amaze myself and get done this evening) will be a 12 & 12. The second 12 will be on Friday and not tomorrow (as Mrs. Ian and I are both off work and would like to do something together - not that!).
And I'm off!

Good luck with that Ian. It looks pretty complex for a blitz.
Have you built it before?

Will be following this, looks pretty good from the sprue shot.

Not as complex as it would have been if I'd been building it in 1:32...

An hour in sees stuff glued and painted and clamped. Impressive, huh?
I won't share pics of my breakfast as I ate it at 8am. If I were to show you I would require an endoscope, which I don't have. Plus you would feel ill.

First "Aaaargh!" moment. Guess who forget to put in some nose weight before he closed up the fuselage?

D'oh.
Well, it looks nifty in-flight on the box-art.. what's your pilot/stand situation?

I am flat out with work today, having just been given the generous time frame of three hours to lay out a 12 page magazine, but shall check in as and when. Good luck with this. But you're still fired.
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?

I managed to wedge a car wheel balance weight in the nose. Should be OK. Fingers crossed.....
A couple of hours in sees it closed up and wing assembly started. The elevators are only dry fitted at this point.

I like the idea of the wing braces, providing of course they fit the wings. Looking good so far
