Cheers Dirk. The gallery pics show some water marks on the paint and streaks that you can't see on the model. It still had wet patches from the decalling.
Thanks for looking folks. I have enjoyed building this one and it was a pretty viceless build and my only gripes are the tail planes needed a little adjustment as they assumed a slight dihedral and there is a sprue gate on the side of the canopy edge that is a little awkward to get rid of.

I missed this while it was in progress, looks really good, one of the down sides of having a stash almost all my P-51's were bought prior to the advent of Hobbyboss and the new tool Airfix. Shame as this looks better than Academy.
