Doing quite well, I built this a year or so into my return to the hobby as an adult and I ended up throwing it out as it was just embaressingly bad.

It's all very quiet on the MMD bench. I'll get back to my Sp****re then. You can never have too many of those you know.

Ye godses... Real life came and kicked my head in today..

Between power being off in the flat, having to go into Ealing for stuff and general mayhem.. the fates have not been kind

I get back to the bench with only an hour and a half left...

Lucky I got ahead of the game last night, then

on with the decals (yes, I know the wing roundels are far too big.. deal.)
Image

the roundel for this side disintegrated... so it says "Navy" now. Sue me. These decals are from the PM Sea Fury FB11, fact-fans.

Love this canopy

'Splody things. Random decal stipes. Fun.

I was building on the quiet while watching the Blackhawks make history last night.. stopped around 6am.. so this one is approaching done...

Looks like I got up just in time for the finale.
Pity I've got to get ready for work and then drive for an hour to get there. Catch up with you about 7:30, Mike.

A Pig of a kit.. definitely a moulding that needs to be consigned to the knacker's yard. But it didn't scrub up too bad in the end..

That hasn't scrubbed up too badly in 24 hours, Mike. You should be proud of what you've achieved.
I may have to get me one of these. I like a challenge every now and then.

Did I mention the F-5E is a much nicer kit?

Wow, that was a power finish there Mike. That old stager has scrubbed up well and you've made a decent job of it. Well done on another finish.

Note from my legal team:

The writ is in the post regarding the use of the NAVY decal on what is obviously not a Naval aircraft. If found guilty we would warn you that you may be facing a prison sentence in excess of 2 years under the current JMN Penal Code. We would advise that you seek legal representation as soon as possible.

Because my camera is a terrible thing. Really terrible. Yes, the Macro is on at all times because without it all photos look like they've been taken through a filter of porridge.
