TOTAL DISASTER. The curry house was closed.

So back to base for bacon butties & more coffee.

Great shame about the Tempest decals OT. I experienced the old, thick 70's Airfix decals during my Gnat blitz and whilst they were a bit of PITA, at least they held together after 35 years in the box.

Val appears to be responding well to having her bottom stroked however  as for the curry house, I don't think any of our local ones do a lunchtime session either, so you'd have been stuffed here too.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Who thinks we should have a sweepstake as to what is finished first?
Kit or cardiovascular system, know where my money is!

We are made of stern stuff up North you know.

Well we are calling it a day. The Val turned out really well considering it's older than us.

So a small tipple to celebrate.

I will definately finish the Tempest soon. I have coated the decals with MicroSet so am hoping that will fettle them.

A big thanks to all who chipped in with comments & advice. So, to sum it all up:

See you for the next Blitzbau in August. We are toying with the idea of wearing Onesies or Mankini's. What do you think?

Well done, hey one out of two ain't bad and Val has scrubbed up well for an old bird :-D

Onesies or mankinis - ooeer, I've no particular preference but go for it, we could do with a laugh :ha:

Onesies or mankinis
Can't it be both? But please, no photos.

Good work all round, chaps... glad to see that you managed to get some modelling done in around the boozing, eating, TV watching and Disturbing Nudity.

Val looks great, nice scheme to. Great building, OT.
Too bad about the Tempest, we can't really foresee decal trouble, can we.
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...
