Cosmic gave the Vals botton some serious attention last night & he seems to have fettled it. The top side is looking good too:

Well it was, decal desaster!

The decals just shatter on contact with water.


So the Tempest is going to be a DNF. I will get it all done bar markings then see what I can find at home. bitterly disapointed reall as it was all going to plan. Say la vie.

The Val on the other hand is looking sweet.



What I would give for some big thick Airfix decals right now.

This is where we are breaking for curry. It has been a few hours since we have eaten.
This is where I will leave the Tempest, all ready for decals:



All the U/C parts are painted & ready, drop tanks too but nothing I can add before decals.

The Val has U/C etc. fitted so will get decals after lunch.
