I have not dared asked what P.O.D stands for.
Payable On Death if memory serves.. Christian Nu-Metal.. let's all put on some really, really baggy jeans and party like it's 2002...

End of round one. It would appear I have pinched several additional minutes. My bad. We were talking here. Or I was being talked at. Or something. I'm still not sure what happened. In fact, I'm not even completely sure how I even came to be here. Here's a picture of a model I'm making.

The Tall Vegetarian Wife just gave me a completely different answer. I'm absolutely sure both are correct. Only one made me raise an eyebrow. It wasn't Mike's laudable version. Either way, here are four minutes of something really quite good courtesy of her iTunes playlist. Via youTube.

TVW picked a winner (not you, Flak.. sit down).. the only thing better than Mogwai songs are Mogwai song titles.. and the new record is really, really good.

I'm no expert, but I believe that male Seafires have a hook.

POD stands for Proof Of Delivery.
I guess the 1:144 Sp****re would be Proof Of Delivery, wouldn't it?

Sp*****es and Se***es is all I can see on here and a small jet. And talk about hairdressers and strange music chosen by someone who only eats lettuce. Where's the scooter then? You can't fool me with your Sp****re smokescreen. I know what a scooter looks like. I once rode a Vespa you know.

Underway for round two. The canopy is not a very good fit in the closed position at all. Open it is then.

A quick rescribe where the model has been sanded, a polish up with scotchbrite and we can do some paint. I was thinking lilac metalflake with copper chromed side panels. Or maybe light gull grey and white.

I am currently home alone. Apart from crazed, attention seeking, Spit****s and Sea****s.

Real life intervention. Back on it now. White is on.

It's not too bad. The sprue gates are from the huge sprue gate era and the plastic is a little soft. A couple of fit issues aside, it's a good one. Not as detailed as the Fujimi Skyhawks but worth having.

We didn't have Soundgarden yet.

Lots of parts drying, errant spitfire in evidence, and about to mask off for the light gull grey. Should just squeak this one home if I don't get too many interruptions. And I'm expecting one around 9pm. Oh noes. Better get moving here, there are a few areas where I'm very unhappy with the quality of my filling but I don't have time to go back and fix it. Such is life.

The Tall Vegetarian Wife will be home soon. Expect mayhem.

Sweary lyric warning.

Carpet monster attacked and stole the canopy. Found it. With my foot. Ho hum.

Paint done, undercarriage parts to be washed, lots of little pieces lying around. Canopy held together by its masking. That's going to be a problem. I can just tell.

The Tall Vegetarian Wife has returned. She is not yet drinking, although bottles can be heard in her bag of shopping. They are unlikely to contain milk. She has found the hi-fi so hi-jinks cannot, surely, be too far behind. We have these making the house shake right now…
