That sounds frighteningly similar to dialogue between myself and Mrs W when once again I have committed some cardinal sin. Like forgetting the milk. Buying another Sp****re kit. Building another Sp****re kit.flakmonkey wrote: I apologise once more. You can never have enough apologies.

Re: Flakmonkey's Scooter *you can never have enough underway
We have an airframe and some drop tanks, albeit with more filling than I was expecting from this new tool kit.
We also have yet another Spit****. Not really sure what to do with them.
The intakes wouldn't fit at all until the locating tabs were removed from them. Might have been my fault. The cannon fairings are a little dodgy on the underside too, along with a couple of other spots. Reasonable overall though and far from a tricky one to build so far.
The filler can go off for a while because we are about to be visited by a friend of The Tall Vegetarian WIfe, Corinne The Hairdresser. Imagine my delight. Why my presence is required I can only guess. The next update could be interesting.

Flak, if I were you keep the boy Sp*****e's away from the girl Sp*****e's for a while. They are taking over your bench like, well, rabbits.

For a noo tool jobbie, that has required quite a lot of filler. It could be down to builder's incompetence of course. But, seeing as it's you, I'll blame the kit on this occasion.
We have a friend who is a hairdresser and she'sa bit of alright I can tell you an intelligent, thoughtful soul. Best of luck. I bet they give you dreads or shave your hair off....

My, that is a lot of filler. You could get Corrine the Hairdresser to hold it while she yaks away. It'll go off in no time.
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

Good advice when you consider i returned to my bench to find THIS going on…jssel wrote:Flak, if I were you keep the boy Sp*****e's away from the girl Sp*****e's for a while. They are taking over your bench like, well, rabbits.
How one determines the sex of Spit****s i do not know but it appears they have no issues there.
We are back underway, Corinne The Hairdresser having been reduced to the submissive state that is the fate of all visitors received by The Tall Vegetarian Wife. Speaking of whom, DJ TVW is in the control tower right now and has sole charge of the sounds we are currently experiencing. Which is nice. Her current selection is the mighty Crystal Method's remix of Garbage's "Paranoid", featuring the

Re: Flakmonkey's Scooter *you can never have enough underway
Back on track with updating, life restored to nowhere near acceptable normality. Everything going according to usual parameters, then. Filler smoothed. Mod mug in use. Spit****s, quite clearly, still at it. Attention seekers.
When The Tall Vegetarian Wife doesn't make foamy coffee, she puts salt in it. She is a very odd woman indeed. Had she not met me, I fear to imagine what may have become of her. She is still in full effect, gentle reader, and is playing things like…
this. It is to be assumed that this is intended to be played very, very loudly indeed. I have not dared asked what P.O.D stands for.
