I fettled the gap issue with s*@t loads of glue then clamped it.

Whilst that dried I had to pop out for essential supplies to have with the gin. Fig biscuits ran out you see. ;-)

Image

Strangely, Finger 'O' Fudge doesn't go very well with sloe gin! Who knew?

Wings attached & gaps filled. Time to get some primer on. That will reveal some problems i am sure..

Image

Someone certaily spent a lot of time putting rivet detail on this

We are getting a bit heavier here now:

Mike, we did have a 'Fall' here earlier. SWMBO fell over the cat, angry pussy is not much fun.

Hopefully you wont have the same issues that I had with badly behaved Spit****s. But if you do, drink the whole bottle of gin and cry like a baby. I am also having enormous difficulty leaving the whole flap/ pussy thing alone. Which actually sounded even worse than it did when it was posted first time around. I mean I don't have issues or anything right I just... no we should leave it.

Oddly I have story about Robert Plant and my niece, Jessica, but I did tell it before on here and so I won't actually go through it again. I don't think anybody was very interested anyway. But it's a good story in a sort of "awwwwwwwwwwww" way, if you see what I mean. Is it finished yet?

No but it is BROWN. I used a rattle can & it is taking an age to dry.

I might do a few more bits & bobs then catch some ZZZ's. I am up early anyway.

I was delayed a little while soothing the pussy.

That Spitfire's looking sweet.
HMMMM Chocolate. I have a large bag of Revels Chocolates and a bag of Thorntons Chocolates in the car. I'm tempted to go get them now. (I am a self confessed Chocoholic too)

All the best.

I wonder if anyone makes chocolate spitfires?

I have just dropped the Spitty & split the fuselage at the upper nose join.

So i have put some superglue into the gap. That should hold it but there are now sticky finger prints on the paintwork. :???:

I guess that join at the chin was under more pressure than it could take!

So i am calling it a night, that is just about 6 hours in anyway. See you in the morning.

I can work at work but only at weekends or when I'm on nights. If you can model during the day, you're a lucky man! Have fun.
