I decided to finish it anyways. Spent the last hours decalling it while watching wintersports. I did put on lots more of the smaller ones than I planned, but offcourse skipped a few.
Here you'll clearly see what Klear did, pesky, looks like oil stamps, wiping Klear while drying made it worse with the paint so I stopped
Nutrition, coffee and chocolate cake. Almost forgot to eat today.
Finished model with two hours to spare. There's lots I'm not happy with. Like paint falling off, Klear ruining a decent paint finish, front canopy slipped a little to one side while decalling, wheels etc.. I've attempted to overpaint the roundels with blue where needed, color not matching 100% and can just be seen.
That said this is all my fault, and so are the fit issues I had underway starting with interior. This is most certainly a great little kit.
And offcourse I fixed the undercarriage with the doors, thanks Ian, I probably wouldn't have noticed as you get a little blinded in a blitz.
I've had enough with decals for one day so wont finish decalling the Jetstream until tomorrow.

I think that looks perfectly good enough. Was this the new perfumed Klear? That seems to be very, very different to the old one, no matter what people may say.

Thanks, Mike, Ian and Steve.
Hehe no, it's the old Klear. Next time I'm using this paint I will try coating with Humbrol gloss varnish, will offcourse try a test piece first.

Great work Sissel. I did one of these for the last blitz and yours certainly looks better than mine, and it certainly is a pretty good kit.
All the best.

Great work Sissel and finish number 5. I only tried Klear once a few years ago and didn't get on very well with it so I've stuck to varnish coats ever since. I must have done something wrong maybe as I know loads of modellers swear by it.
