Re: When An Old Blitzbuilder Leaves The Bench.. It's ON, Peo
Hello all..
As you can tell, I'm still alive..
Apologies for the silence for the last couple of days.. it was, as some have suggested, internet issues: I was in the thick of fervered last-minute blitzing (not helped by the Hawks/Wings going to a shootout) when there was a loud bang from the bathroom and all the power in the flat went (something is wrong with the extractor fan/light switch). I got the power back on but strange things happened to the router.. which is incoveniently located in a housemates (locked) room. said housemate was away until today. In addition, the wireless connection that I hijack occasionally at work has had the rudeness to put a password on. I tried the three most popular passwords on earth "Password" "Guest!" and "B00bs" but none of them worked.
Just got in and have seen all the emails and messages.. thank you for your concern: I'm very touched.
Oh, and the model. I cannot tell a lie: it was a (barely) DNF.. I broke a rotor blade off right at the very end (last piece to go on) so it was about twenty minutes after the time was up that I had a viable helicopter.
Pictures in a minute or two.. computer is mucking about with "updates"

What a relief that your are OK and that it was nothing more serious than electrical issues. I was worried that you might have karked it and that wouldn't be on - it'd be very quiet around here without some MMD interjection and music

Thanks chaps.. sorry if I was a worry...
Here is the old dog.. it's a horrible kit but at £2.25 who am I to complain?
Oh, during the brief blackout I managed to knock the canopy onto the floor and step on it: muy cracks..

I'm pleased to hear that it was only technical problems that were keeping you away. The Sea King looks good, shame you didn't quite make it.
