This one goes out to the Tall Vegetarian Wife, who has not only had to put up with Flak, Flak Blitzing and Flak Not Blitzing A 1/32 Arado.. she also has to put up with Flak commenting on Blitzes while they're Out and Aboot..

I'll be watching this one all-right. It may give me inspiration to get my old USN seaking out and finish it. Good luck with the build.
All the best.

Thanks, Greg..
Time
Joining that fuselage was exactly as much fun as it looked.. yeeesh
Mark & Craig in their office..
Got to mask up the glazing, assemble some more parts and then let loose the rattlecan.. want to try to get the majority of this done tonight..
Music? here's The Toys with A Lover's Concerto.. and no apologies to Bach because I have a sneaking feeling Johann Sebastian would have loved it..

Oh dear those fuselage halves fit where they touch - about 6 tons of filler ought to sort it It's a bit of an old banger but I'm sure you'll show it who's boss Mike.

Re: When An Old Blitzbuilder Leaves The Bench.. It's ON, Peo
This kit is now annoying me... the neccesary clamping/taping to try to get the fuselage to fit has clearly created a great deal of pressure: internal bulkhead has popped out and is resisting all attempts to fix.. I don't dare take the tape off the nose for a while yet, either.. the glue may need an overnight cure.. so I'll turn my attention to sub-assemblies..

Mmmm, these old kits can be tough unyielding old buggers and don't take well to being rushed. It might be a sound idea to give the glue longer to cure. Some kin big clamps would help - it's worth buying some if you haven't got any. I used to use tape and/or rubber bands but invested in a few clamps last year and haven't looked back. Didn't cost that much either.

time
Here's where it's at.. filler drying on muy gaps..
This'll be the last update tonight... we'll reconvene tomorrow for the final stages.. and probably a last-second panic..
remember The Honeys from the last post? Well, they stopped being a Girl Group, sang back-up for the Beach Boys and had Brian Wilson produce an album for them under the name "American Spring"... it's amazing but if you feel like buying it, have about $300 handy because it's Super-Rare..

News coming in of panic buying of model filler in the Greater London area. More as we get it.
Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?

Oh dear, it has gone ominously quiet and that's not like Mike. I've had internet issues most of the afternoon so couldn't check in. I hope all is well.
