I also picked up one of these today...
If I can find enough references/spares/decals for a Spanish Fury a separate build thread will follow.

MDT, there is a conversion kit based on the MB/revell kit for the Spanish Fury. It is/was made by Dekno kit number K-0200.
It includes markings for both sides and a new nose, radiator and undercarriage.
David.

Cheers for the heads-up David although the only one I've found is a tad out of my price range. I see a bit of scratch making and part mixing going on.lancfan wrote:MDT, there is a conversion kit based on the MB/revell kit for the Spanish Fury. It is/was made by Dekno kit number K-0200.

Thanks for making me aware of brand I've never heard of..those resin 20s and 30s racers Dekno make look a bit tempting!
Re: It's a bit of a Letov...
another interesting build, will be good to follow.
Re: It's a bit of a Letov...
I'm going to be a late starter on this - I'm part way through 4 nights so I'll get started Friday/Saturday all going to plan.

About to make a proper start on this...Here are some sprue/detail shots -
Instructions are the usual KP affair with a simple diagram -
There is a nice 1:72 diagram to help with alightnment of the wings etc on the back...
Nice shiny yellowed decals!
There is some fine raised detail on the parts which are mostly flash-free...
One of my first jobs will be to open the small window below the windscreen -

Yes...think with the few markings I'm using I might paint the strips on the rudder.mightymikeD wrote:Looks like a nice kit... those decals look a little.. ahhh... "nervewracking" though..
So far today I've drilled out the small windows on the fuselage sides -
The cockpit floor column and something or other has been started...
This is my first attempt at a wooden prop...
I also separated the elevators with a razor-saw so I could pose them -

Wood prop looks pretty good MDT
Re: It's a bit of a Letov...
Cheers guys for the support! Had a bit of break after picking up some night shifts last week.
Got the Letov restarted with the cockpit painted, assembled and the fuslage cemented together...
...the engine and prop painted ( I've used a bit of artistic license on the red prop section)...
I've prepared the wings for rigging with holes drilled through the lower wing and small indentation in the top wing -
Really struggled finding good enough references for the Fury and I'm running low on time so I'm ditching that plan I'm afraid. Think this Letov will be good enough challenge on its own!

That's some good work there! The prop looks great and there's a nice bit of interior detail, isn't there?
