mmD's Government I-15
..And, of course, I achieve some balance with a 1/72 ICM I-15 for the Spanish Government.. (BTW, I don't use Republican/Nationalist when referring to Spain: it's Government vs Fascist/Falangist in mmD's weird little world)

Re: mmD's Government I-15
I thought I'd posted boxart and sprues for this.. mea culpa
Here they are
One sprue of hard, low-flash, nicely detailed plastic.
love me some engines..
Dry brushed the interior detail
Cockpit is quite complex for 1/72. These are the parts.
This looks to be a very nice little kit.. very little. This was one titchy aircraft.

Re: mmD's Government I-15
it's going together nicely... parts fit fine by short-run standards.
it now looks like a plane...
I always get nervous when I see these two-piece cowlings.. I've yet to meet one that fits properly around the engine.. we shall see!

Nice little kit this! Had a go at one of these about 6-7 years ago and sadly ended up in the spares box (due to poor storage...)
Seem to remeber the cockpit took some alignment to get right. Hope the two piece cowling is going alright!

and it's done...
I hit some problems with this, mostly caused by me accidentally knocking it of the bench and stepping on it...
But anyway

Great finish Mike on a tiny plane. ICM are a bit like the new KP with thier nice but challenging interesting subjects.
