I had to do the same on my Heinkel - conflicting or incomplete sources, so I just made up something plausible...

I've never been one to worry about the "Accuracy" of camo schemes.. if it looks good, go for it.. after all, you're the one who is going to see it the most when it's done.
And this camo scheme looks just great to me.

Re: forest1000s Do 17
The model is finished. At some point, I may redo the Pablo 4 when I can make a good stencil. The decals are mine. I did the artwork and printed them onto clear film. They were sealed with dull coat prior to use. The decals are incredibly thin and it's a good thing I made extras as a couple of them crumpled or tore. The model was not a good build with warped parts, poor injection molding on plastic and clear parts, terrible fitment at the nacelles. This mold should be added to a list of retirees. Overall, it was a good lesson in modelling. Thanks for looking.

Looks great David despite the problems you had with this kit.

Great finish! One of the reasons for proposing this build was the striking camo-schemes and often "painted in the field" look to SCW aircraft.. and this one looks great. Well done.

Thanks for looking and the comments. I realized after I took the photos that I was painting some things when the aircraft was upside down, so the navi lights are backwards and have since been corrected. If it could go wrong....
