I've found a complete set of airliner wheels in my spare parts box - I think from a long scrapped Airfix VC-10. They look like they might make a half decent set of replacement wheels for the Comet.

Those are some very nice looking build Eric - So are all the windows on that Douglas decals?

Yes, they are (apart from the astrodome on the top).
How windows are depicted on decals can vary. The Aer Turas DC-4 as depicted by 2-6 attempt to replicate the reflectivity aspect of glass/plexiglass by having a "painted on" variation in tone on each window. I'm not 100% convinced about this technique but it looks OK. Most airliner window decals simply depict a black or dark gray square or oval - which I think I prefer.
Some of the window decals I have in my decal stash depict window blinds in various states of open/closed - which I think is a nice touch.
