And this is the scheme she´s going to wear:

I´m curious: no progress to share, people?
My progress in the last 2 days has been so small, it´s not worth to show, yet ("real" life keeps me too busy).

To be honest with you Crash me too!
Real life and 3 builds, one for my Mrs and 2 for MarkyM607 have occupied my time, I then have a Valiant and B-47 to finish for Telford so let's see what I can get done.

After a short gap here is the story to date, beginning with the fighter, the engine and tailplanes were fitted, the model was then ready for painting startiong with the grey undersides.

The cowling and canopy were fitted and painted and the uppersurfaces were then painted in Black Green, this was then followed by the yellow inner leading edges and the camouflage roll over on the same areas.

Th decals and matt varnish were then applied and the drop tank was painted and fitted.

Moving on to the trainer, The engine and tailplanes, modifed/scratched tailwheel, drogue towing frame and drogue cannister were fitted. The modified canopies were then fitted, the model is now ready for paint.

@ lancfan:
Wooow, that Academy Zero looks VERY sharp indeed! Did you mask the canopy, the frames look so crisp!
You really made the exhaust stacks stand out, though they´re molded together with the fuselage :) .
(I know cause I got the same kit in the stash).
Would like to go to my workbench, but have to get up at 04:45 a.m. tomorrow... :frown: , so I better go to sleep....

Slade's song is from the early 70ies, that's quite a while ago,
isn't it?
Well, I´m too young to remember that.....:-p

Slade! Yeah! Hey David that target tug Zero is looking really good. Wasn't aware they were used in that capacity; I thought they might use something a little more clapped out.

FWIW, I find the single curved blades, #10 or #22, to be very useful for scraping/thinning - I seem to control them better than straight blades.

Oh yes, thank you! Good idea, that would save sanding time, because it makes the edges thin out more evenly
I´ll use the curved ones next time, the Mig´s wings are ready for the next step already.
