RAF continuation SB *** no longer needed***

Post by lancfan »

The RAF Centenary GB has been tremendous fun and will soon end, when this is over I intend to continue until the end of the year building further subjects alongside other types of build. does anyone want to join in ? bear in mind that although a Shared Build can normally be moved over to GB status if the list of builders hits 6 or more this simply cannot happen in this case and rather than leave anyone out should this happen I propose we drop it completely and build individually. Any takers?

I have a couple of projects for this theme to finish for a club display in November so count me in as well.

Johns' suggestion http://www.uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... 72#p362993; sounds perfect, I would be only too happy to help out as extended/assistant GBL if needed and it would be a neater solution.

We could do John's extended GB until December 31st
Then make it a SB until March 31st - the very end of the 100th Anniversary year ;-)

 By the time we have finished in December we will be sick and tired of RAF subjects for some time afterwards.

Yeah, we could -- and it there is any actual momentum, maybe even carry the GB until then.
OTOH, some folks consider the anniversary year to be the year prior to the anniversary date, so technically we're done :)

I think that by September/October we will have had our fill of this subject and people will drift away.
