Just to clarify, "Started models allowed from any starting point", does this allow some languishing, 3/4 done shelf queens?

I figured this would be the best way to get as many kits done in the build as possible.

This is great Im sat in the crew cabin thinking about what models Im gonna do next as the Airport is closed haha!

Kicking it off with this one that I picked up at Telford, Special Hobby AH-1G Cobra "Over Vietnam with M-35 Gun System". Think the box is this big just to get the title on :ha:

A very detailed looking kit with plenty for the spares, and a tow bar arrangement.

Also picked up these up at Telford, hopefully will augment it nicely.

Looking good Kit, I'm unsure what to start with at the moment, might play it safe first with a Sea Harrier FA.2 or there maybe something else.........

Mav, you are probably aware of my 1/48th Sea Harrier FRS.1 build and I have now recommenced work on it. The model is around half done, which I appreciate might be too much for the purposes of this SB. If, however, you want another SHar build on here I can post my updates and what have you otherwise I'll just carry on with the build on my Workbench Window.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

OK, in an attempt to make sure I actually finish one, I am doing Airfix's P.1127. It's a simple kit and it also really can only be built as one of the early prototypes finished in natural metal (silver paint in my case). Here's the raw materials

There are a couple of things need fixing - a short shot intake lip and the odd sort of step in the moulding at the tip of the nose.

I've seen a couple of great builds of this here but I'll be keeping mine OOB. I have pics that seem to show at least XP836 flying without extensions (metal or rubber) to the intakes so that's my plan. I'll probably try to improve the interior a bit.

Cheers muchly, Adam I'll put up some pics asap.

Good to see the Kestrel, David. An old kit for sure but I've also seen some good results using it.

Nice looking P.1127 David!

I plan to build one of these in the RAF 100 GB!

I made a start on an Airfix GR.7 last night, I glued the wings together and finished the cockpit.
I'll post pics once I've survived going to work.

Thanks, guys, but it's not a Kestrel. I thought that too but there were the P1127s, then the Kestrels and then the Harriers. There are differences if you know what to look for :-)
