The peer inspired Day-Glo looks awesome, I feel like we should be back at school! :ha:

The beaver is looking good, and I agree, those airfix stands are brilliant.

Regards

Justin

Engine and cowling added last night. Will add the landing gear steps later tonight and start masking. Oh........holes are drilled for the wing mounted antennas and parts added to the leading edge of the wings for the directional surv/recon antennas.

Pesonally, and I repeat, have not encountered any real issues in the building of this kit. Nothing that a little time and effort can not handle.

Now dig out my FS36087 OD.

To be honest, this is one of those kits I'd be happy to build again, perhaps next time with floats and a/m decals.

Do you get the floatplane option in the kit?

You do, plus a ski adaptation to add to the wheels.

Bruce

That's good, but don't rush it. You're making progress and that's good enough.
You can get worried when I turn all the lights on, switch the music centre off, start tidying up and emptying bins, wash up and call you a taxi! ;-)

Regards,
Bruce

Very nice Bruce. So much for the "new" decals eh? well saved though. Do I detect a blurred prop in one of those pics in a simulation of the engine running? did you give it a quick flick before pressing the shutter or am I sadly mistaken?

To be fair on the current establishment, the boxing is well pre-Hornby and naff decals were the norm.
The prop is blurred, due to me blowing on it.

Bruce
