Well done. You taught me a new technique also. Love seeing those old moulds turn out so well.

Your model looks good Bruce, I like the wire brake pipes (which I copied on my model) and I see you have chosen the same aircraft in its current form, this compares nicely with my model in 2003 guise. Thank you again for setting up the shared build for this kit.

It was good being able to choose an option that was the same, but different.
Exhausts aside, there isn't much external detail missing from the kit, with only the brake pipes to add.
I'll leave this thread open a few more days and then I think we could open our discussed SB Gallery!
Regards,
Bruce

Nicely done both of you. Some very interesting ideas to try on some of my builds. I think the shared build format worked very well in this thread.
I was just thinking we ought to have a gallery with all builds in the same posting. If everybody sent the build leader a URL with their picture, it would be easy to do.
Cheers
Andrew

Very well done to the pair of you. It goes to show what a nice model can be made out of this old kit with a modicum of skill and patience. Once again, I think the shared build concept has worked well and indeed arguably better this time as with only two builders it has been easier to follow the stages of construction in order to compare, contrast and learn something. It's a good looking aircraft is the old chippie.
