Airfix Bf-109E 1/72 (new tool) -- promoted to SKGB

Post by AndrewR »

Jeff (Jssel) and I will be building the new Airfix Bf-109 Emil in 1/72. Jeff is going for the kit decals, I will be finishing mine in Royal Yugoslav Air Force markings.
Starting date is 2nd January 2013. If anyone else is interested, please post in the announcements thread.

Cheers

Andrew

count me in. I started one of these before I left Ireland (had to leave it there) and am very keen to have another go. It's a lovely wee kit, basically a scaling down of the 1/48

Andrew, if gods of plastic and time allow, I'll start with you guys on 2nd. Finishing though may take me to another 2nd (month unspecified) if current time availability does not prevail. :) I think I'll try something desert-centered if the kit lets me.

Glad to have you aboard Marek. As there are now 6 of us building, I will consult with John and Bruce, as I think it would be better to run this as an SK GB.

Bugger I missed this, I bought the kit when in Melbourne before Xmas and then went on holidays on the 1st Jan to a place with no PC and have only looked at the shared builds thread tonight.

Out of curiosity, where is everyone up to?
