Very nicely done Andrew (the Normandy shot is a good one!) and I found this to be a interesting and informative build by both of you.

Great work by both of you. I now need to build one.

Guys,

Did you thin out the wings both inboard and outboard of the engine cowlings?

regards,

Martin

The wings inboard of the engines are full of air intake and radiator, apart from smoothing them off above and below the intake so the wing surface curved more realistically I left them alone.

David.

I did thin them because I felt that the wings looked too thick in proportion to the height of the radiator when viewed head on.

Well Done, not just with the models but with the inaugural "new format" Shared Build.

Very low stress building. With no fixed time limit, some forum members might prefer this to a GB, particularly some of those who build slowly.

It's particularly good for showcasing CBKs - a single kit Frog Hornet GB would be very difficult to get off the ground.

Hopefully Splash and I will have a go at the Frog Sea Venom at some point.

Hi, first time on site, lots of interesting ideas and food for thought. I am interested in the DH Hornet and as part of my club build was offered a old frog kit of the DH Hornet. Did a couple of things to it, not much, a bit of scribing, new lamp under the wing, wire for the pitot. Would like to post a pic of two but I haven't a clue how to!

Why not go to the top of the forum, the Welcome section, and introduce yourself - folks may not see you down here. You might also go look in the Forum Rules section where you'll not only find rules, but how to post pictures (at this post viewtopic.php?f=9&t=237).

Welcome aboard !
