Thanks for the 'heads up', Ian, but I have a confession to make. I will be using the spinner from the Minicraft boxing of the Crown kit because it looks so much better than the Revell one to my eye. Although, as you've previously said, a bit of sanding round the edges would make a massive difference to the rounded Revell shape, I wasn't convinced I would have managed a consistent and neat reshaping.

Todays progress.... Paint is just about done. Just needs a little touch up. Guess you can figure out what scheme I'm going for here. Unconventional and a bit what-iffery, but easier than masking off splinter camo in this scale.

Just going for a what if if the Japanese had gotten some 262's near the end of the war. I may be wrong and maybe they did. But, I wanted something different, so I went this route.

Japan had the Nakajima Kikka (Orange Blossom), which was virtually a copy of the Me262.

I wouldn't worry, Tony. I've heard and seen it all as I work in IT support. Once I even managed to log a hardware call for a new 'harddick'! No spellcheck on the call logging application.........

Sorry there've been no updates from me - I've been working. That means 12 hour shifts + an hour there and an hour back. Doesn't leave much modelling time.
Last one tomorrow so I should be able to get some stuff done on Friday.
