Shiny enough to shave in I like this scheme, a blue Harrier is very different.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

The green Harrier gets some extra white paint (actually it's Vallejo white primer) to cover up the plastic on the starboard drop tank.
The front wheel got a blast of the white too - almost ready to put the undercarriage on the blue Harrier.
Cheers
Andrew

Precisely two decals placed on the nose of the Harrier before I got called away to look after David.
One small decal is still floating in the water dish!
Cheers

And I managed to rescue the floating decal two hours later and stuck it in place. It did split!
So there we go, three decals which you can hardly see.
Cheers

If a little slowly. If I only get three decals a day done, then it's going to be finished at Christmas!Sir T wrote:And all the more better for it!

Re: Airfix Harriers - jssel, AndrewR, fredk, Maverick321, Si
I did more decalling this evening and several decals split. The kit decals are from the Dire Period of Airfix Transfers, so I gave up. Most of them are not visible on photos of the real thing, so I think I'll draw a close to decals and get the Arctic Harrier finished off
I think it has captured the look I wanted without much more work on it.
Cheers

A satin varnish coat to try and reduce the gloss a little.

And then there were two.
I'm using matt varnish on the Arctic Harrier, as it's meant to look well weathered!
Cheers
