Cheers Shaun.

I'm still progressing with the Heinkel today it had a coat of primer just to see what will need sanding down. I have decided on a Hungarian a/c as it's slightly more colourful.

I have been busy with other builds but did get some bench time with the 111 today, the engines have been added and I'm nearly ready to start adding paint.

First coats of Paint now added, the tail has been masked ready to paint the red/white/green bands.

The underside was first painted blue and the yellow band was painted on the body then masked and lighter shade of green over sprayed.

Great to see this build back on Splash, nice paint job and I agree with the other respondents that those colourful Hungarian markings make a great alternative to the usual He-111 schemes.

Thanks guys, I'm enjoying this build the dark green has now had a second coat and looking better.

I now need to make some masks to make the national markings for the body and wings, the markings are awhite square with a black cross Black square with a white cross a bit like a negative Swaztika without the edge pices.

I'm impressed with lifecolor paints this is the first time I have used them and they spray well and as a bonus brush well as well.

The dark green has had a second coat of paint using a hairy stick and the tail markings have been tidied up.

for the national markings I have cut out a square from masking film and sprayed the area white I will now mask the white crosses with tape and spray the corners black, if this works I will do the rest the same.
