Re: Pocher 1/4 ducati panigale
great work looking good i like the paper filter you made just like the real one well done
Re: Pocher 1/4 ducati panigale
Hi all these are the screws that come with the kit.
At a huge cost of 3.49 for 20 including postage I think these look better
(Ron aka silver911 told me where to get them

I agree, those hex head bolts really do look a lot better than the screws supplied in the kit, KP and really Pocher should have provided them instead of screws if it's hex heads on the full-size. Nice bit of work with the front fairing.

Agreed, Pocher are spoiling the ship for a ha'p'orth of tar.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!
Re: Pocher 1/4 ducati panigale
Moving along now, still a long way to go though, but at least it's looking like a bike now.
Not happy with the oxygen sensor wires I think they're too thick, they're networking wires I don't have anything thinner, any suggestions.

Re: Pocher 1/4 ducati panigale
Hi all thanks guys. well I've got to say I'm very disappointed with the hardware upgrade kit. I'm not an engineer and I don't have a box of assorted small diameter bolt hexnuts or assorted rods but Paul seems to think anyone buying his kit has them I now have to try and find some threaded rod for the foot pegs, anyway whingeing aside the heal guard is missing the attachment hardware Paul suggests to make sure you can get the centred you cut the heads off the bolts and glue them in place allowing you a chance to centre them
On closer inspection looking at the rear of the part there are two lugs where the bolts go through on the real thing which if drilled from the rear gives you the ability to centre them also giving you the realism of having the bolts sticking out the back once added
The top bolt on this bracket as supplied is a Philips screw.
Paul's solution is to cut the head off a socket screw and glue it over the screw

Great further progress, KP. It is a tad disappointing that the upgrade kit doesn't supply all that is needed to further detail the basic kit - I thought that was the point of an upgrade Alas it is often the case that these specialist upgrade firms do expect the purchasers of their products to have extensive spares boxes and a library of reference material.

I swear I have ridden a real bike that size. (Monkey bikes are fun) That's an awesome piece of work. Looking forward to seeing the finished bike. Been following this one closely.
All the best.

Re: Pocher 1/4 ducati panigale
great idea cutting the head of and gluing it on top of the screw, it is coming together nicely well done
Re: Pocher 1/4 ducati panigale
Hi all finished the rear suspension and made the rear stand as this thing is getting heavy and is not very stable standing on only it's rear wheel and the exhaust
