Tamiya 1/12 Williams

Post by Simbo »

Hello all,a quick question for you , received the Williams Fw14b for my birthday a couple of days ago and the instructions recommend Tamiya TS spray paints.Which undercoat do you guys recommend ?Grey then white or just a couple of layers of white ? (Tamiya fine surface primers ).
Cheers,
Paul.

Either one, I find each equally good and you don't need very much. I like the Tamiya White primer for Coastal Command aircraft.

I like Tamiya paint and have started using their white primer, the only issue I had was when I tried to brush paint Humbrol Acrylic red paint over the top of the white primer it would not stick and just formed beads of paint.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.
