Re: trucks
Very nice work. We don't see many trucks on the forum.

Re: trucks
Great stuff Gino - I like those old Freightliners, when I was a lad the trucking company my dad worked for had one as a wrecker - it was a beast!
Keep meaning to build a big rig but it's one of those things I haven't got around to yet!
Great builds!

Re: trucks
after starting with cars in the early seventies , I built nothing but trucks for many years.
my dad was an owner op and used to take me on trips and taught me how to drive.
in the top pic, on the left (green + silver) is a model of his truck I built from spare parts.
I got onto aircraft in the late eighties so the bulk of my stash is from that era .
was away from the hobby for about 15 years, got back in about two years ago.
started on the three trucks in the second photo ,and the last couple of months slowly onto aircraft again.
kayla and I discovered my old aircraft models in storage. they were packed away for over 15 years.
she liked them so hence her shelf in my room. she and the mm site have inspired me to buid aircraft again so here I am.
if you start a rig kit and need any help on anything let me know. it would be my pleasure to help you.
stuart you still awake ?

Re: trucks
Trucks are indeed a bit scarce on here Gino and those Freightliners look excellent. What scale are they?

Re: trucks
here is a kenworth k-123 in 1/25 scale .
the cab is from an old amt kit rescued from the junk parts bin.
I mounted it on a cut down italeri freightliner conventional frame.
the engine and drivetrain are also from the italeri kit.
I made the exhaust stack brackets from brass channel.
all other parts to finish it out came from the parts bin or were scratch made.
