here is a amt kenworth aerodyne in 1/25 scale .
I made the sleeper box using two cut off roofs from two monogram kenworth aerodyne conventional snap kits .
they were joined together to make up the sleeper box roof. the rest is sheet plastic except for the rear which I used an italeri freightliner conventional
rear sleeper wall. the V-8 cat engine , the rear ends, the rear wheels , and rear tires came from a revell of Germany kenworth w900 kit.
the front steer axle, front wheels , and tires are from the monogram snap kit. I installed fuel lines from the fuel tanks to the engine and some engine wiring details . I also used aluminum tubing for the exhaust pipe run to the stacks at the sleeper box rear.
I used testors colors by boyds for the purple and added the black afterwards. both airbrushed . I plan on respraying the black on the sleeper box
but never got to it. that is the reason it is not really finished.

Superb work. I know from the trucks I have built they are not that easy. (the last one was the AMT Alaskan hauler). Unfortunately non have survived. My Dad was a truck driver until the mid 60's. I'd like a few models of classic British trucks like the Scammel Crusader and the big Bedfords he used to drive but unfortunately non are available in the bigger scales.

All the best.
