Polar Lights 1/25 Delorean

Post by RudiB »

Here's my completed build of this model
As I mentioned in my workbench thread, this model comes with barely any painting guides and 2 decals that are in fact stickers!

Nicely done.
Is there an option to build as a standard De Lorien?
I wish, that I knew what was doing!

You've done a great job with it despite the lack of decals. 8-)

Thanks guys, although I can't take credit for the body finish as it came like that OTB,
Also it comes with two build options, with the Mr Fusion (from Back to the Future 2) as In the photos, or with the hook and pole at the rear (from Back to the future 1). I built the hook and pole option as well as the base part it builds onto only clips on to the body - the only part I didn't glue on to the main body so I may swap it over in the future (or the past :ha: )
Unfortunately it doesn't come with an option to build a non time travelling Delorean, but I'm sure it could be done if you're good at making canopies and fabricating plasticard as the boot / trunk door is missing and so are the side and back window, although the engine on the Delorean is rear mounted so a bit of imagination may be needed, and also there are holes in the body were the flux bands clip in but they are easily filled.
