I first built this kit in 1986 and when I saw it again had to get two of them..
Doing this one with independant rear suspension.
It has a V10 from a Dodge viper,so it has mildly increased power!
The engine in place with manifolds.

you said you bought two are you going to build one as standard and customize the other one ? i am looking forward to seeing this build i have never built an amt kit before so will be interesting to see if the parts fit well

I agree about looking forward to this build.
Generally the fit on amt kits is not that good, I have built several and have 1 or 2 waiting.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!

Fit was ok on this kit,done now but here are a few more pics.
Got the engine in today as well as the interior tub.

Very nice. I like the engine upgrade which should come as a terrible shock to any future drag race competition.

I dont to cars as I can not get on with gloss paints and metal paint but I love looking at car modellers work,great job.
