after looking at my stash of kits for a while i decided to build the Mercedes 300SL, the parts are spread over 5 sprues, the chrome parts are beautiful in this kit they are the best i have seen, i usually dechrome them then use alclad but i dont think i will have to with these as they look just right, looking at them Tamiya also thought of the attachment points as they seem to be where they will not show, i have also bought a photo etch set for this kit which gives me another 4 sprues, i have decided to do the body work in silver with a red interior which in my opinion is the only colour for it although customers could choose any colour combination they wanted
