More great work KP. Although not a car modeller, I have heard of Pocher but didn't realise how costly they are. £500 is steep enough and well outside my modelling budget but £2300 for a part done kit?!? that is a serious ask!

The Rolls royce and mercs regularly go for 1500-1700 quid airfix have taken them over and do a couple of Lambos and a 1/4 scale ducati for around 450 but they're not a patch on the originals for parts count (although like the new release airfix kits I here the quality is really good ) tamiya do a Caterham special in 1/12 that's supposed to be really good and I'm watching a couple of builds which do seem good but again we're in the 500 quid bracket again, I'm building the ItalarI 1/12 mefistofeles which I have to say is a lot of kit for the money and is multi media also a great kit and at 80 quid a real bargain IMHO.

Hi all here is another update, I decided to give it a wood veneered dashboard
Image
Think it looks nicer than the bog standard dash
Image
Just for added interest here is the new shiney chassis and engine bay.

And here is the old battered one

Wow, this build looks so realistic KP with some really great weathering effects on the engine and its compartment. And talking of effects, how did you do the wood veneer for the dashboard?

Hi all finished the steering rack (still needs weathering) and installed the dashboard.

Not sure what to do with the steering wheel the interior seats and maybe the door panels (still not sure on them ) but definitely the seats will be cream leather as I think it will look really luxurious with the purple and gold, so should the steering wheel be white, cream, wood or black also should that be the whole steering wheel or just the rim. Baring in mind the paint work will be like the K1

The wooden dash I photographed some furniture then reduced it 1/8 ran it through the printer glued it on the dash with superglue then varnished it.

Hi all been attaching some of the many wires and pipes to the engine and weathered the engine a bit more ( don't want it to look like it neglected but thought it looked too clean)

What you are doing here looks so realistic, excellent work. I like the custom painted Z1000 as well!
