very nice, i like the gold radiator grill it just looks stunning the engine bay also looks stunning a lot of detail in this kit those brake lines also look good, do they come with the kit or have you had to make them up from tubing, looking forward to seeing more well done

They come with the kit mate (although they're too short so I had to use copper wire too.

I never cease to be amazed at the detail in this kit KP, Heller really pulled out the stops with this one and I'd wager that some kit manufacturers would have left off the underside brake lines in the interests of economy!

Hi all here's the next bit I decided to do something really different with the paint job then couldn't resist trying it all together I need to add a lot of lacquer to it yet but I'm quite pleased with it so far.

the paint work does look different looks good though, what did you use for the pattern it looks sparkly, a few coats of lacquer will make it stand out, brilliant job can`t wait to see more

Hi all the next update.
I found the tape in the pound shop it comes in an assortment of 3 sizes on a roll, it's I think what used to be call defraction tape and was popular in the 70s for custom paint jobs on cars.

Hi all another update, the canvas roof is causing me lots of problems, so much so it may end up with a non working roof and just have it displayed in the open position. The bonnet and wings are not fixed just positioned to see how much giggling I will need to do to get a good fit, the bonnet is supposed to be fitted with a piece of rubber on my first build it proved to be a very bad system which tended to come unglued after it had been opened a couple of times, I bought a piano hinge for that job instead, I'm having to keep shaving bits off the front grill to stop it fouling the grill (very slow job as I don't want to shave too much off and have a gap between the grill and the bonnet) with a little forethought I should have cut the hinge a little shorter.

This really is the business KP. If the roof is giving you problems just pose it open to show off that great interior!
