Revell London bus

Post by kpnuts »

Hi all this is the largest dio I've attempted so far.
It will have all the British car models in 1/24 I can find, I've been on it a few months now so here is a brief update on what I have so far.
This is somthing like how I see it being.

Here is a rough layout (all in 1/24) it measures just over a metre square.

Good Lord, that's going to be a huge project and truly spectacular when you finish!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Brings back thoughts of the "London" theme proposed for the CBK at Telford in 2016.

Telford is the location of Scale Model World, the huge IPMS show every November.

We host several IPMS SIGs here on UAMF, one of which is the Classic British Kits (CBK) SIG - you can see them on the main menu.

Anyway, for the 2016 show we had several concepts, one of which was a London "scene" and yours reminded me of it. We went with a different theme.

Wow, that bus is looking real good. Lots of hard work. Did you upholster those seats? They look sweet.

They were decals (it would actually probably been easier to have upholstered them)
