Everyone should read the build thread, so they can appreciate how much effort went into this build, with such a good result. 👍 Brilliant work David.

Oh my, that is a real beauty David! 8-)
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

Thank you, gentlemen. It was a bit of a trial to build but I am happy with the result and happier still that it is finally off my workbench!!

Beautiful finish, when are you going to start on the 1-1 scale vehicles?
It's only pain, work through it.

Deusenbergs are an absolute favourite of mine.
Monogram did a few 1/24th kits back in the 60's, the 1930 SJ Torpedo was my favourite.
Are these 1/18th kits still available anywhere because that looks fantastic.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Thanks. There are a series of them with different bodies and they come up regularly on eBay over here for reasonable prices. They were originally by Hubley but appear in boxes by Gabriel, Ertl and JLE Scale Models (sometimes just Scale Models). Be warned though, this was not an easy build. That said, it makes a very imposing and handsome automobile.
