VDUB beetle dio
Re: VDUB beetle dio
Hi all here's the next update (it may not look very pretty I accidentally stood on the engine) I've tried to fix it up a bit (it doesn't really matter as it won't be seen in the dio and anyway no one will be looking at the beetle.
Couldn't resist trying the body on it.

i dont know why people are so rude, but i like the model you are building i like the weathering on the engine, and looking at your latest pic i can`t see any signs of you stepping on it it is looking good i am still baffled as to what you are doing, is the dio something to do with si-fi ?, can`t wait for more well done

Unfortunately mixed in among the good people, there are some complete knobbers on social media, KP (reflects life generally I suppose) and certainly whoever sent you that message is talking out of their rear passage. We on here know decent modelling when we see it and this is shaping up into a great build!!

Social media, used properly can be a great tool, a bit like the person who sent you the private message, you'll also have noticed they sent it privately, not got the spine to post it openly, ignore them and carry on building great beetles. Thanks for sharing.

Re: VDUB beetle dio
i agree with Shaun it does look like w.o.w. brilliant job i like this build a lot, don`t worry what people say on other sites it is obvious they don`t build models otherwise they would know and appreciate how much work has gone into this build and how much more there is to do
Re: VDUB beetle dio
Hi all well the vdub is finished, you can start to see why it's a poor vdub
