Dirk's Ford T-5

Post by Dirkpitt289 »

In 1964 when Ford introduced the Mustang, the new car not only conquered America, it also mesmerized the buying public across the world. However,in Germany, Ford ran into a snag when it learned that a pair of German companies already held the copyright to the Mustang name. To the Germans, a Mustang was either a truck or a small motorbike.

This project, my first car build in 35 years or so, has a lot of mistakes but them again I tried a lot of first time tecniques on it also. So all-in-all I'm happy with the result and am ready for my next car which will be the 68 Mustang 428 Cobra Jet Racer. ;-)

Very nice build Dirk. I really like the detail work on the engine and interior.

Beautiful, Dirk.

I love the interior, the engine and the colour!

My favourite Mustang shape of all. An all time classic.
