Orange Sherbet Kustom 36 Ford 3 window coupe

Post by parki »

Hear is my custom 36 Ford three window coupe. It has had the roof filled and smoothed and a 57 chevy front clip grafted onto the chassis. The only way I coud get it that low!! ;-) The car features a supercharged chevy 409 Engine. It has a fair share of tuck and roll and a nice flat paint colour. I wanted to give it a bit of attitude.

deuce coupe = 1932 ford, this is a '36
scratch the dizzy = scratchbuild the distributor as opposed to buying a premade aftermarket one

Thanks for the great comments guys!! :) The dizzy is just an old kit one I found in my parts box. I just drilled the top out and stuffed them wires in LOL :-D I have made them before though out of aluminium tubing. Hope this answers your Question.

yeah...ive used brass tubing sprayed black and used 16 gauge jewelry wire for the cables before now. ive tried strands from a usb cable but they are a little too thick

Cool. thats what i use or on this car I used 30awg wrapped wire in red from RS ;-) usb wires ok for like oil lines etc. but yeah, way too thick for plug wire.

LOL :-D Naa... planes aint for me. I built a few as a kid, but never really got into them, nor militery models. Just don't hold any intrest for me. There have been some great dioramas built though. ;-) I just wish us car modelers had the same support as you guys. :???: I did join a local club back along but always ended up sat in a corner, as everyone else in the club just built militery stuff so i left in the end.
