Beautifully done model of a classic motorcycle. I always liked the real thing - when I lived in Townsville in the late 80's my landlord had one and I always admired it (I was riding a GS650G 'Katana' back then).

Like you, I have a stash or real bikes awaiting rebuild (or rebuild of a previous rebuild) and a stash of motorcycle kits.

The real bikes I have are:
Lambretta LD125 (1961)
Lambretta LDA125 (1962)
Suzuki GT250K (1973)
Kawasaki S3 400 (1974) x2
Kawasaki KH250 (1975)
Yamaha RD350LC (1982)
NB: I sold the Katana about 3 years ago to a guy in Sydney who wanted to restore it.

The model kits (all 1/12 scale) in my stash are mostly of the era of when I started road riding:
Aoshima Honda CB400N Super Hawk III
Tamiya Honda CB750F
Aoshima Honda CBX400F
Tamiya Honda MVX250F
Tamiya Honda VT250F
Aoshima Kawasaki GPZ900R
Tamiya Suzuki GSX1000 Katana
Matchbox Suzuki RG500
Matchbox Vincent HRD
Tamiya Yamaha RD250LC
Tamiya Yamaha RD350LC
Tamiya Ducati 900 Mike Hailwood replica

Two nice collections. :)

Those old 2 strokes are getting more and more valuable, particularly the RDs which are fetching somewhat silly money these days.

You may have an investment in your garage. 8-)
